Obama Supporters…

Thursday, September 4th, 2008

Like the one pictured here from: “Code Pink” are psychos. I”m sorry, but I just can not get with a movement that is so disrespectful as to try and jump on stage and disrupt a Vice Presidential nominee’’s speech at their convention.

I didn”t hear about Republican fanatics doing that at the Democratic convention. Hell, they wouldn”t even let Hillary supporters dissent.

I don”t like Republicans, but more and more I”m starting to loathe “Democrats”.

BTW, lest you think that’’s just one random crazy chick in a stupid T-shirt…her name is Jodie Evans who has raised over $100,000 for Obama’’s campaign. Which given the overwhelming dollar amount he’’s raised is but a drop in the bucket, but still she’’s not just some crazy random as the media will no doubt try to paint her as being.

McCain/Palin

Friday, August 29th, 2008

She reminds me of Tina Fey.

Yeah, I think people are underestimating McCain. He’’s sharper than I gave him credit for.

He has done a few things here with this pick…

1. For those Hillary voters who were only energized to vote for McCain out of spite, this gives them an excuse to “feel better” about their choice as it will stick it to the Dems in a poetic justice sort of way.

2. This will and has already secured his base…which is what he was going to need. I knew they were going triangulate anyway. I personally think the Republicans were playng up this antipathy for McCain to lull the Democrats into a false sense of security.

3. He can begin to point out Obama’’s inexperience more through Obama’’s attacks of Palin’’s inexperience. What I mean by that is…while Obama is taking about the bottom of the ticket, McCain can talk about the top of the ticket being inexperienced.

4. The Republicans will ultimately use the sexism that the Democrats showed against Hillary…against them. Meaning, they will highlight every sexist thing said against Palin to paint the party of “progressives” as the hypocrites they are. It’’s amazing really cause the Republicans are sexist, but they have now seen that Democrats are JUST as sexist if not more. This will have a two fold effect…

A. Obama will have to come out and apologize for the sexism to make sure he keep his female voting block in tact ESPECIALLY the Republican women that supposedly flocked to him so he”ll always be in apologize mode.

B. If Obama ignores the inevitable attacks of sexism, Republicans won”t hesitate to draw parallels with what happened during the primary which will turn people off of Obama because they”re reliving the history of the past year and a half.

I mean just like the laughing at Obama’’s celebrity…McCain knows how to play this game…while looking like a doddering old man who wouldn”t hurt a fly.

Should be interesting how this all plays out in the next couple of months.

White Guilt

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

You know, white guilt isn”t going to fill my gas tank. I need someone who can fix this shit and it ain”t the symbolic candidate that will have as ineffectual a presidency as the current boob in office.

Obama supporters sound just like Bush supporters…rabid. Obama has better oratorical skills than Bush, but he’’s woefully ignorant when it comes to policy. His recent gaffe was in saying that we needed more arabic translators in Afghanistan even though they don”t speak arabic.

Looks like whether it’’s John McCain or Barack Obama we”re going to get four more years of failed policy and ignorance of foreign affairs.

But what this post is about is the white guilt that is shoving Obama into the position that he’’s in today. And the condscending attitude by said white people that tells me as an African-American, I”m owed this presidency.

First I self identify as a woman first…then as an African-American, and for me, the african ancestory and my american heritage are on the same level…which is why I take the term African-American very seriously…but these two gents make excellent points about how worthless this entire campaign has been.

Read here from a black male perspective about the condescension of this nominating process. I don”t know if this guy is black or not, but I agree whole-heartedly with his analysis.

Isn”t this the pathetic truth?

The Three Stooges…

Saturday, March 29th, 2008

I tell you what, the American public despite the punditry keeps the electoral process in perspective.

The BO That Cried Wolf…

Saturday, March 22nd, 2008

Here is a little something I wrote last night out of frustration and disappointment at how this primary election cycle has been run (into the ground).

I”ve said it once, I”ve said it a hundred damned times…Democrats don”t know how to win. It’’s time for a third option seriously. Maybe that’’s coming.

Anyway, the story is in the link. Enjoy!

Everyone’’s talking about “The Speech”…

Friday, March 21st, 2008

It was fine, but kind of boring and over long.

And the issues that Obama raised had already been covered by Clinton at the “Million Man March”.

Clinton’’s speech was much better than Obama’’s because Clinton gave it as a response to positivity…where as Obama’’s was given as a response to negativity…(Reverend Wright and his associations).

Obama gets zero credit from me on this… (more…)

The Right Wing Conspiracy…

Monday, March 17th, 2008

For many months I”d already known that the right wing wanted to run against Obama, click here for a pretty spot on analysis of their greasy tactics to bolster Obama and vilify Clinton.

Why does the left espouse the right wing’’s talking points? Don”t they know they”re getting zoomed?
